Learn Softball Toronto offers two programs that both play Monday nights from May to the end of September:
- Beginner Program from 7pm-8:25pm
- Intermediate Program from 8:30-9:45pm
Intermediate Program players should meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to consistently catch and throw a ball from a 40ft distance.
- Must be willing to participate in a learning environment.
- Must be able to make contact with the ball when at bat.
- Has a basic understanding of softball, including the objective and rules of the game.
- Accepted entry if the player has three years in the Learn Softball Toronto Beginner Program.
- May be subject to a skills assessment at the beginning of the season.
Advice on choosing a program:
- Consult the Program Selection Chart at the bottom of this page to guide your decision.
- The Intermediate Program moves at a faster pace than the Beginner Program. Learning is less structured in comparison to the Beginner Program and largely takes place in-game settings.
- We all learn at different paces and that there are many skills to learn in the game of softball. We welcome players to stay longer in both programs, as needed.
- We know it’s challenging to navigate which program to join. Contact us for support navigating which league is right for you based on your learning objectives and past experience.
